Knight Filter Bag Baskets and Strainers
Knight manufactures replacement bag filter baskets and basket strainers for a wide range of filter housings and offers replacements for all current models, and any that have been discontinued by the original manufacturer.

Knight Corporation offers a wide selection of baskets to fit all make filter vessels currently being used in the industry. Our baskets strain and filter a variety of fluids to trap solids of almost any size. All baskets can be easily removed for cleaning and are made in lengths to fit your specific vessel size. All of our baskets are precision crafted and are available in high quality stainless steel or carbon steel. There are two basic basket styles from which to choose: strainer basket or bag basket - with or without mesh liner. The correct style basket is determined by your specific straining or filtering requirement. The strainer basket will remove particles down to 74 microns and the filter bag will remove particulates down to 1 micron.

Plain Perforated Strainer Basket
Strainer Baskets have non-perforated bottoms and are available with 1/4, 3/16, 9/64, 3/32, and 1/16 inch perforations.

Perforated Strainer Basket with Wire Mesh Lining
Mesh lined baskets feature rounded solid bottoms and are made of high quality wire in mesh sizes 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 90, 100, 150 and 200.

Filter Bag Basket
Standard filter bag baskets have rounded perforated bottoms and 9/64 inch perforations for a 51% open area. They can also be mesh lined, and accept all standard size filter bags.

Single Stage Baskets

Single stage perforated strainer basket, with or without wire mesh liner
Single stage filter bag with perforated basket, can be wire mesh lined, or made entirely of heavy wire mesh.

Dual-Stage Straining / Filtering
All Knight RK-CK housings can be supplied with a second inner basket, which is supported on the top flange of the regular basket. Both baskets can be strainers "with or without wire mesh linings" or both can be baskets for filter bags. They can also be mixed; one a strainer basket, the other a filter bag basket. Dual stage action will increase strainer life or filter life and reduce servicing needs.
